Yours, Georgina is the folk-rock project of Georgie Currie, a Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter. Georgie grew up in Albury on Wiradjuri Country and spent her childhood listening to the storied voices of Bernard Fanning, Dolores O’Riordan and David Gray. She first cut her teeth as a musician and songwriter in The Northern Folk, a ten-piece band that played countless shows across eastern Australia and released three studio albums.

Since 2021, Georgie has released her solo music under the moniker Yours, Georgina. She draws the name from her gut-punchingly honest and self-baring songwriting; held by a rare strength of voice fit to carry her arresting lyricism. When joined by her band, Yours, Georgina’s sound is full-bodied and infused with twang, akin to Australian artists the likes of Liz Stringer and Missy Higgins.

In 2024, Yours, Georgina released a six-track EP titled Noonlight, a collection of songs about perspective and the ways moments can appear differently in the rearview. The EP earned her radio play and support slots for two mainstays of the folk and alternative scenes, The Maes and Emily Barker. In 2026, Yours, Georgina returned with ‘Keepers’, the first offering from her upcoming album. A song longing for home with “sophisticated and succinct shoe-gazey leanings” (Kath Devaney, ABC), the track received attention from triple j, ABC Country, and a host of community radio stations. She followed this up with a second single ‘Dazzling’, racking up more than 10,000 streams in its first month. Yours, Georgina’s debut record, Destination Fever, is set for independent release on 27 November.
